hello, mods. this is a very specific character-related question and i'd like to do a log/prompt for this but i need to know stuff first!

what would happen if someone (it's Pearl, she's the someone) tried to communicate with the large rewards-system crystal that sits in the center of town? not simply ask it for a wish, Pearl wants to see if it has a name, or if it would be willing to share stories about the town/their kidnapper. has anyone else tried this before?
