After some discussion with the current mod team, we are not going to be allowing characters to regain items that are unique to other canons such as OEM Gear. We understand this is a departure from the previous mod team's policy, but after lengthy discussion, we think this is the best course of action for the game.
If you would like Takashi to have ODM Gear, it would require a character from said canon to gift it to him using their own shards.
