This can be ornamental like giving herself a dragon mask and antlers, allowing her tail or wings to appear, or elongating and transforming her limbs for various attacks (Corrin can turn her arms and legs into drills, spikes, or combine her arms and hands into a single toothy maw and unleash an energy blast called her "Torrential Roar"). Her clothes change with her and revert upon changing back UNLESS for some reason (sexy) she decides not to, in which case they'd appear next to her when she does so, undamaged.
If she is caring for a dragon egg, she will sense that the baby dragon inside is happier when around her in her dragon form. In fact, when she leans in close, she might even hear the voice of a young child somehow. Did it just say 'Mother' ...?
