Applications
Applications open at 12:00am (CST) on the 5th every other month, and close at 11:59pm (CST) on the 10th. Application submissions will be judged by timestamp.
2025 App Months: March, May, July, September, November.
An invitation is required for all applications, unless the player already has a character in the game. Players can have a maximum of three characters in the game at once, and can app two at a time if they wish. A fourth character can be apped with extra requirements, but can only be applied for after having 3 characters in game.
Appable and non-appable characters:
❖ All fictional characters and OCs are appable.
❖ Canon OCs can be apped with no relation to canon characters and on a case by case basis. Please contact a mod for further discussion. TTRPG and MMORPG OCs are appable.
❖ Real people are not appable. Exceptions can be made for fictionalized renditions of historical figures, set in a fictional story, such as characters in the Fate series. Characters from mythology are also allowed. Renditions of real people from autobiographies (even if heavily dramatized) are not appable.
❖ For characters under 15, a case must be made on how they would be suitable in a dark fantasy setting.
❖ There is a cast cap of 10 characters.
❖ There is a franchise cap of 15 characters.

Character Questions: 75 word minimum per question. 2000 word limit overall.
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon, or who is someone they miss the most and why?
2. What are they most afraid of and why?
3. What are their emotional, mental, and physical weaknesses and why?
Answer for all three.
4. What is your character really like (their authentic self), and how do the outwardly present themselves to others?
5. What would make them happiest and why?
6. What characteristics does someone need to have to be your character's ideal significant other?
In the case a character is underage or does not feel romantic attraction, answer for an ideal platonic partner or best friend.
7. Would your character make a sacrifice to save someone else and why or why not?
8. What is one thing they would tell their younger self if they had the chance, or if your character is young, what is one thing they would want their older self to remember?
In the case of teenagers, you can pick either question.
9. When in dire circumstances does your character fight, flee, freeze or fawn and how does that look? Fight, Flight, Freeze or Fawn definition reference.
10. Why did your character make the wish they did?
