(Thus I believe the tiger, like other demons, can change his form to a certain degree. He can look like a cub to elicit sympathy - or to just get on someone's good side.
Otherwise he is large enough for Tantai Jin to ride and, besides the description above, he wears armor on his back. He almost resembles a Sabertooth Tiger to me, but with a lion's tail.
As a demon, much like his Master, he can devour dead souls and, like in the novel, he ends up cultivating what's left of Tantai Jin's soul, allowing him to be reborn. But I don't think those abilities will crop up in game.)
