The simple answer is that this would be two separate rewards, which can be reclaimed in whichever order you like.

Trinket: 100 Shards as a large nonmagical animal

Raven's Slumber: 100 Shards as a small magical item (as described here.)

(If you purchased them as a single entity they'd be treated as a large magical animal. It'd work out to 200 shards either way)
