Requested Reward: 150: A powerful magical or sci-fi item Reward Cost: 150 Extra Details: I am hoping for BB to create a magic item for Webby as a Gift, it's called a Mystic Code. In Fate Grand Order, the Mystic Codes allow you to cast a spell that basically the cloth holds for the user. As long as the user implements their magic into it, they can cast the spell. BB specifically wants to make Mystic Code that will give Webby 3 Abilities.
Can BB create Mystic Codes?: She was able to with her Item Creation skill but because this was nerfed in Labryn, she's basically making a special request. Inorder to be able to make one if Vaeros would be so kind, to grant her permission.
1. Immune to Mental Corruption (Obviously Mod/DM events are case by case. This is mainly for characters she knows in the game that have Mental manipulation powers and she just wants this for Webby... For reasons. Smile.) This does not make her immune to sleep/charm or status effects. Just immune to the the ability of another character that can corrupt her mind, change her memories, and or etc. 2. A shield, that can protect her and make her damage immune for a very short time. (usual mystic code spell in FGO) 3. Better Magic Control, knowing that Webby struggles sometimes with controlling her magic she wants this to basically be able to help her control her magic and keep a lid on it. It will work as a magic focus, and as long as she knows the spell she wants to cast (thunder in this case). She will be able to cast it and control it much easier, it's kind of like training wheels.
The idea is that she is asking for the materials from her realm in order to make this & permissions. If this is not possible, then she will request just this one which she will alter with her knowledge with magic & etc to make it work on Webby only. Replacing the *use on a servant* function to change it into *Use of Webby.*
Additionally, she will lock it so only Webby can touch or use it, and if anyone else uses it or touches it. It will explode. LMAO.
Unfortunately, the gifting rules as they currently exist only allow for the gifting of mundane items or items that previously belonged to the receiving character. Items that would give another character a special ability or abilities would fall under the same rulings as directly wishing to give another character those abilities, and thus be rejected.
As this wish would be granted by Myrta, there is no humiliating or detrimental side-effect for failure; the wish simply fails. Your shard total remains unchanged.
If someone buys an item for themself and gives it to another later, would they get in trouble for it? How does gifting others with special effects work?
Is this only a magical item ruling or nonmagical too? If someone say got a bag of holding and gave it to someone else to borrow/hold would they get in trouble or?
We're fine with mundane gifts! In general, any intent to permanently give special abilities and powers to another character would be where we'd make the distinction.
Borrowing/temporarily using is fine.
Also any object that is canonically shared by multiple characters would also be acceptable to gift regardless of powers.
