Hiatus, Drop and Canon Update

HIATUS

• Going on hiatus exempts you from AC for 1 month.
  
• A hiatus must be a minimum of 2 weeks long to qualify for AC exemption.
  
• We do not accept retroactive hiatus requests.
  
• For a longer hiatus, or for emergency circumstances, please contact the mods to make a special request.

There are three mechanisms for hiatuses:

• Autopilot (so business as per usual)
  
• Getting lost in Yhaveh Forest
  
• Returning home briefly for a canon update.

If you opt for your character to be lost in Yhaveh Forest, feel free to improvise the strange and unusual places they encounter! Adversely, you have the option for them to wander down endless woodland without ever finding anything beyond trees and shrubbery. We will leave that up to you. Please note that nothing of plot importance will be found in Yhaveh Forest at this time. Since characters can only tolerate being in Yhaveh Forestfor 3 days, it is assumed your character has been unconscious in the garden outside of Somnius for the rest of the period of hiatus.

If you opt to do a hiatus + canon update, your character will have returned home for the period of hiatus, and appeared again updated to their new point in canon. If this canon update will involve your character changing the wish they made, please go back to your original comment on our applications page and add a new comment with "WISH UPDATE" in the subject line, and the new wish in the body.

Please put HIATUS (and CANON UPDATE if applicable) in the subject line and fill up the following form in a comment.

Please then reply to your AC page header with a link to the hiatus comment using the AC form.

If it's only a canon update you're after, put CANON UPDATE in the subject line and fill up the form. Canon update comments will be screened once approved, and then deleted after one month.

I have to bite the bullet as this Covid had whooped my ass, I don't have the energy at the moment and I have to be well/rested to go to my brother wedding in a week too D: I'll be tentatively backtagging the stuff I already have, but I can't guarantee I'll be up to anything else :(
